1940s Celebration of Love AB Rhinestone Necklace
A little something about this vintage treasure
The periods of the 1940s and the 1950s create many stunning costume jewelries. Our beautiful AB rhinestone necklace is one example. AB stands for Aurora Borealis, aka the Northern Lights you see in the Northern hemisphere.
These AB stones radiate rainbow colours and shimmer in pink and blue.
This waterfall design was very popular and common in the 1940s. She's a 70-year-old beauty but every rhinestone is still in place and sparkling beautifully and brightly.
A must-have item if you are in love with the mid-centuries fashion. She will also become that perfect heirloom gift for your loved ones.
The necklace is hepherd hook closure.
The longest point in the centre of the waterfall design measures 3/4" / 1.9cm.
The necklace measures 15.5"/ 39.5cm in length.
This necklace sits beautifully around your neck.
Excellent vintage condition. The metal of the backing was gold dipped which has now oxdised a little. The shepherd hook is a little rusty but it does not show when you wear on your neck. You will only discover the flaws upon close inspection. Although it ages a little, it doesn't take away the beauty of this heirloom piece.
