Our Classes and DIY Workshops

As an avid DIYer, I love sharing what I have learnt and self-taught all these years to you, my dear fellow arts and crafts lovers. 

Our classes are always fun-filled and never short of jokes and laughters! Although we do a lot of wedding related workshops, there will also be times when I teach children's hairpieces. I promise you that you will never leave the classroom without learning new skills and something really beautiful to bring home with! Light refreshment and music are always there to enable you to relax and learn as much as you can. 

We have also done hen parties before when bridesmaids and the brides-to-be learn to make simple and elegant jewelries for the wedding day!

If you are not too confident about working and learning in the presence of other students, or the workshop dates often clash with your work schedule...Worry not as you can always schedule private classes.

Classes are held periodically in our new showroom, or with other crafty bodies.

For wedding related workshops, you will find ring pillow, marriage certificate holder and vow cards set, bouquet, veil, accessories and even heirloom jewelries.

Regular Classes & Private Workshops Cancellation Policies

If you have signed up for any regular classes, once your seat is confirmed, cancellation and full refund will only be granted unless notification is sent one week (7 days) before any class or workshop starts. You can simply contact us by clicking here and let us arrange.

We prefer to be notified at least a week beforehand so we can find new students to substitute. In case we are notified less than one week, we regrettably reserve the right to charge a 50% administration fee, but each absent student can always take home their own material pack.

If you have signed up for any private workshops which we have specifically designed for you, but decide to cancel at any point of time after payment is cleared, a deduction of 50% of the workshop fee will be applied due to the special arrangement of materials and related designs.

Bad Weather Arrangement

If regular classes are cancelled due to bad weather conditions (black rainstorm signal or when typhoon no. 8 is hoisted), your class fee will be fully refunded in 7 working days or you may choose to attend our next rescheduled or new workshops.

For private workshops, your classes will be rearranged to take place at another time. 

On Intellectual Properties and Copyright

When you make your payment and when your payment is accepted and your workshop seat is confirmed, you agree to: 

• Acknowledge that all products made in our workshops are for your own personal use. You are not to resell under any circumstances as commercial products.
  
• All designs and/or notes handed out (if any) during our workshops are copyrighted by House of Sugar Darlings. You may not reproduce, copy, or resell in any format or by any means.
• Any techniques or skills shared and taught should not be openly discussed, penned, photographed and/or recorded on- and offline (especially on the Internet regardless if your posts could only be viewed by and/or shared with a selected few even when your setting is "private". As nothing is really "private" on the cyberspace, darlings!). This on- and offline sharing  will seriously violate our intellectual properties and copyright.
  
• Whilst photography is generally allowed (by discretion) during our workshops and for your own personal use, videography is strictly prohibited.

Prefer Learning Privately? 

Of course you can always opt for learning privately, if scheduling conflict happens as always with our classes. Just let us know and we will work out some enjoyable private classes together.
